I used the official prompt list but since quite a few prompts gave me Star Wars vibes I decided to make this into a StarWarsTober. I've drawn all of these with bottled ink and used water-diluted ink in some drawings to get grey shades. In the end I used the greys pretty often. StarWarsTober jatkuu! On with the StarWarsTober! 'Frog Lady' on hahmo Mandalorianista, eikä varmaan olisi liikaa pyytää, että vuorosanoja saaneella hahmolla olisi oikea nimikin... StarWarsTober jatkuu aina vain... StarWarsTober just goes on and on... I learned the meaning of the English word "coruscate" when reading Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett some years ago. Ja viimeiset StarWarsToberin tuotokset. And the last art of my StarWarsTober. I inked most of my drawings with bottled ink using a dip pen for which I have some changeable nibs. I pretty much ruined that plate when I used it to dilute ink to get greys. Luckily, it's an old plate that's just fine for art. On the left there are some alcohol-based markers I used towards the end of the month when I was travelling: a couple of different greys, a black and a colorless one to blend other colors together. In addition to those there are some black and grey fineliners and of course a mechanical pencil and an eraser - I use them to start almost all of my artworks. CHOIR SONGS Of the people close to me, both my Big Brother and Mr Brony like to sing. Actually, they both sing in a choir, though different ones. // I went to the Christmas concerts of both of those choirs the other day. // "And the thing is... I don't understand choir singing." // "Don't take this the wrong way, now! I'm not much of a singer but singing together is fun. And I do like to listen to music and choir songs. I don't go into those concerts just because I'm polite." // But I really don't understand what the choir is singing. The lyrics just get all muddled up. // Only if I know the lyrics already am I able to understand them somewhat. (I Finnish Christmas song) // I once asked this from Mr Brony who said... "I think you should be able to understand them!" "Hm." // "So... It's hard to say if this is just my thing because I can't know how others experience it. But both of those concerts were good!"

CHOIR SONGS, PART 2 "My previous post was about how it is difficult for me to understand to lyrics of a song sung by a choir. The day after I published that I went to yet another Christmas concert." // It was one by Lyran and Akademen, and Mr Brony's fiancee lured me in there. // "Hello!" "Welcome! This time I chose all three animals myself based on two things: having the word "white" in their name (in Finnish, barnacle goose is "white-cheeked goose") and being somehow unfairly hated. In Finland, barnacle geese are hated because they eat on agricultural fields and poop on streets; white-tailed deer because they munch on apple trees and are an invasive species in Finland (which is not their fault!); and great white sharks are considered ruthless murder machines. This little incident actually made me really happy, especially as the seller was a young female (something along the lines of "a high school girl in her first summer job") and the customer was a middle-aged man, so stereotypically there could have been some nasty mocking. But they were really nice and polite to each other, the customer especially, and I noticed that even other customers in the queue were delighted to see how nice they were to one another despite the seller's troubles.
